Tweed Phase 1 Engineered Structural Retaining Wall

The Tweed property was a two acre cliffside lot that overlooks Hayden Lake. In order to build and utilize the backyard in it's entirety required it to be raised 22 ft. This project was engineered and spect out to be a 300 linear foot retaining wall that topped out at 11 ft in height spanning out from mid point to 6 ft. It took 88 truck loads of quarry spalls, 150 truck loads of compact gsb and 6 ft granite boulders stacked to fill. Yes, it was a crazy amount of material however this was a sizeable project ...and we thoroughly enjoyed our office view while our clients were pleased! This was only the first part of their exterior 5 part project (retaining wall, paver patio, new tech savvy sprinkler system with sod, gated driveway stone columns and entryway stone sidewalk).
